With five music performances daily and over 185 artists displaying and selling their crafts, the Reston Fine Arts Festival is a great place for an art lover to stroll and spend a summer afternoon.

Arlington restaurants such as La Tasca, Lebanese Taverna, Mexicali Blues, Wasbi and others will participate in the 20th annual Taste of Arlington. Along with food from 30-40 restaurants, expect some local entertainment (bands and dance performances) as well as fun activities for the kids.

The Washington Mystics of the WNBA tip off their 10th season with a home opener on Saturday against their conference rival, Connecticut Sun.
Last season, the Mystics ended the season in 4th place in the Eastern Conference with 18 wins and 16 losses and a 13-4 home record. The Mystics play 17 home games this season. [...]
