More from that "Alternative" Universe

This photo is from yesterday morning (6:45 a.m.).  It was just 35 degrees at the time.  But by then, about 50 people were already in line at Toys “R” Us — a full 45 minutes before opening.  And two days AFTER that alternative universe shopping experience called 5:00 a.m. Black Friday shopping.

While I have no idea what they were waiting in line for, I can only assume it’s for the latest iDog, Wii, High School Musical board game, Webkinz or some other toy their kids will probably grow tired of by New Years.

Oh, the humanity…..

Hey Jon, like I told Alex, before you know it the new American tradition will be having Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family camped out in front of various retail stores! Kind of in the genre of a tailgating party before the big game! LOL!

The only time I’ve been in a line that long was the one time I decided to wait in line for a discounted bus pass from the students centre at my university. After waiting about two hours or so to get one, I decided from then on that paying the extra $10 per month would be the better way to go.
