Music At Eastern Market

After recovering from a devastating fire, Eastern Market, DC’s most popular outdoor flea market kicks off free live music performances on Sundays through September to add to the street fair atmosphere.

The bill will include a selection of some of DC’s best jazz, contemporary, blues, bluegrass, and international musicians.

  • July 29: AM - Daryl Davis (Rockabilly), PM - Little Bit a Blues (Blues, Ragtime)
  • Aug. 5: AM - Tom Mitchell & Robert Redd (Swing, Jazz), PM - Blue Rhythm Boys (Blues, Swing)
  • Aug. 12: AM - Unusual Suspects (Contemporary Acoustic), PM - Over Under Down Yonder (Bluegrass, Folk Rock, Rockabilly)
  • Aug. 19: AM - BluesWorks Over Under Down Yonder(Blues, World), PM - Pam Parker (Jazz, Contemporary)
  • Aug. 26: AM - Archie’s Barbershop Jambassadors (Acoustic Blues), PM - Bill Baker Trio (Contemporary Acoustic, Swing)
  • Sept. 2: AM - Alexandria Kleztet (Klezmer), PM - Barretones (Bluegrass, Country)
  • Sept. 9: AM - Travessia (Brazilian Jazz), PM - Sears Trio (Jazz, Samba)
  • Sept. 16: AM - Reverb (A Capella Gospel and R&B), PM - Blue Rhythm Boys (Blues, Swing)
  • Sept. 23: AM - Dead Mans Hollow (Bluegrass, Americana), PM - Shackbreakers (Acoustic Blues)
  • Sept. 30: AM - Barrelhouse Brawl (Blues, New Orleans Jazz), PM - Irish Breakfast Band and the Boyle School of Irish Dance (Irish)

Dates and Times - Every Sunday, through Sept. 30th, performances at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Tickets - Performances are free.

Parking - Street parking is available, but you might need to look a bit.
