Hit the Big Waves

If you want to escape the heat of summer, check out Cameron Run Regional Park for some fun in the water.

Great Waves Water Park has a 475,000-gallon, zero to 8-foot deep wave pool generating waves up to 4 feet, a four-story 3-flume waterslide, a kid’s water playground and lap swimming lanes. There is also a sun deck, bathhouse,float rentals and snack bar.

Crowds are heavy on weekends, so try to plan your visit on weekdays.

There is also an 18-hole miniature golf course, or you can hit the baseball batting cages for just a $1.00 for 16 balls.

Days and Hours

  • Great Waves - Through June 17, Fridays 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., weekends 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (closed Mondays - Thursdays). June 28 - Labor Day, daily 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Miniature golf and batting cages - through Labor Day - Monday - Thursday - 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., weekends and holidays, 10:00 to 10:00

Entrance Fees

  • Great Waves
    - Weekdays - under 48″ in height - $10.25, over 48″ in height - $12.75, Seniors $6.00. After 4:00 p.m. on Weekdays, $6.25, Kids under 2 - Free
    - Weekends and Holidays - under 48″ in height - $11.00, over 48″ in height - $13.00, Seniors $7.00, Kids under 2 - Free
  • Miniature Golf - $5.50 for adults, $1.00 less for Seniors and kids under 13.

NOTE: Kids must be at least 48 inches tall to use the waterslides.
